The Massachusetts Association of Accountants (MAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping our members achieve their professional goals while elevating the public’s perception regarding the industry. We represent the interests of small to medium-size practices comprising Certified Public Accountants, Enrolled Agents, and Masters of Science in Taxation. Additionally, we extend a warm welcome and helping hand to those just embarking upon their careers in accountancy.
Our mission is to encourage the highest level of competence, character, and integrity among our membership. We do this by promoting opportunities for professional development, the exchange of innovative ideas, and discussions on ethics that foster the adoption of best practices within the industry.
We strive to ensure that citizens of Massachusetts have access to professional accounting services that can be relied upon to be accurate, transparent, and reflective of the newest rules and requirements. By providing our members with the tools they need adapt to ever-changing rules and regulations, they can provide accounting services that inspire confidence.
Formerly the Massachusetts Association of Public Accountants, MAA was founded in 1946. We are an affiliated state society of the National Society of Accountants.
