STATE TAX NEXUS & OTHER MULTISTATE FILING THRESHOLDS

With changes to our work environment and state tax filing thresholds, multistate tax demands a renewed focus on its basic provisions and updates.  Focusing on the most recent developments in the area and our shift to a virtual work environment, we will learn about nexus, PL 86-272, and minimum required connections for other taxes imposed by the states.  In addition to the major subject areas discussed, we will focus on economic presence, factor presence, payroll localization rules, and voluntary disclosure agreements.  Designed to accommodate both experienced tax professionals and professionals beginning in the field, this course will examine case studies, judicial opinions, real world experiences, and participant questions in its analysis of the topics.
